Fall is coming so let's enjoy our gorgeous autumn scenery virtually by traversing the historic Rail Trail System in Western NY and the Finger Lakes Regions. This trail system was once railway systems to connect various corridors of the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse areas.  Today these systems can be paved or dirt trailways that are point to point.  Surrounded by autumnal beauty, as our leaves start to change, you can virtually imagine the exquisiteness and serenity of the trail you are on.

Starting on September 15, 2020 you have almost 11 weeks to virtually walkrun, or cycle 269.26 Miles of 12 of the major Rail Trails in Western NY and Finger Lakes Region of New York State. You will receive a finisher medal where you can attach your foliage charms for every 50 miles completed.  The final charm is for completing the final 69.26 Miles.  This virtual autumn adventure ends November 30th, 2020.  See Maps and all Rail Trails below under Course.

*NOTE*: While COVID-19 restrictions are still in place, you are to complete your activities while practicing social distancing. You can run, walk or bike anywhere you choose or perhaps visit one of the trails that you'll be traversing - socially distanced of course!
