Winter Warrior Half Marathon, *NEW* Quarter Marathon & Four-Person Relay!
Your Registration Includes
- The first 1000 registrants will receive a super cool winter hat depicted below! Once the hats are gone, registrants will receive a different piece of Winter Warrior apparel.
- All Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay participants that register prior to midnight on December 1, 2018 will receive a custom bib with their name printed on it.
- Chip timing - with splits and net time. (The time from when the gun goes off until you cross the start line is subtracted from your official gun time to get your net time). Note: As per USATF Rule 163 we do not use net times for awards, they are provided by us to you as an additional service only.
- Live text and email results as you finish (sign up for results notifications to track a runner here)
- Finish line video integrated into the results in the following week
- Delicious Post Race Mac n' Cheese
- Finisher medals to all finishers
- Access to a 3000 square foot warm tent where registration, results and post-race food will take place.
There is a 4 hour time cutoff for both the Half Marathon and the Half Marathon Relay (18:20 per mile pace). The course will close at 4pm.

All Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay participants must start their final lap before 3pm. Any participant not starting their final lap by 3pm will not be allowed to run the remaining lap.

There are NO PROCESSING FEES when registering online for YellowJacket Racing events! All entries are non-transferable and non-deferrable, no exceptions.
Packet Pickup
- Fri, Jan. 4th from 10am-7pm at both Fleet Feet locations:
- ARMORY: 155 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14620
- RIDGEWAY: 2522 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626
- Race Day, Sat, Jan. 5th, beginning at 10am at Rochester Tech Park inside the large white tent
- Please note all relays must pick up at the Armory location or on race day!
Relay Teams:
4 person relay teams are available.
Each Relay Team member will receive a bib with your team name on it. None of these bibs will have the timing chip attached to it. Your team will also receive ONE timing bib. This timing bib will be attached to a belt and will have a timing chip attached to the back. This belt will have to be passed & worn by each member of the team while running their respective legs. For example, if you are running “Leg 1”, you will wear the belt with the timing bib and after you are done with your leg, you will then pass it to your team member who is running “Leg 2”, etc. Whoever is running the final leg needs to be wearing this belt to be sure that your team time registers at the finish line. The race belts must be handed in at the Finish Line.

Awards
Half Marathon Awards
- Cash prizes to Top 3 Overall Male/Female ($250, $150, $100).
- Age Group Awards to Top 3 in Male/Female 5 year age groups. (19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up)
Quarter Marathon Awards
- Overall Male/Female, 1st place in 10 year age groups (19Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Half Marathon Relay Team Awards
- Top 3 combined teams
Claiming Your Award
There will not be an awards ceremony on race day. Overall Winners, Age Group Winners & Relay Team Awards can stop at the awards table once results have been posted to claim your award. Awards will also be available for pick-up after the race at Fleet Feet @ The Armory between January 8th - 22nd. Awards will not be mailed.
Race Day Schedule
10:00am - Registration/Packet Pickup Opens
12:00pm - Race Start
3:00pm - All participants must start their final lap
4:00pm - Course Closes
Course/Maps
The Half Marathon course will be made up of 4 loops at approx. 3.3miles each. The course will be open to (limited) traffic. The Winter Warrior Half Marathon is a certified course. (Map)
Bathrooms and the water stop will be located at the start/finish area. The relay exchange point will be just past the start/finish area.

Directions/Parking
Parking is available in the large lot next to building 2 at the Rochester Tech Park.
Please note the roads are still open to traffic as there are still some businesses in operation during this time.
