What is ROCtoberfest?

Octoberfest is the big party in September, ROCtoberfest is a party, 5K and fundraising opportunity for local charities in October.  In previous years the Photo Finish 5K hosted this style fundraising, in their decision to no longer host the event we want to keep that legacy and keep the fundraising going plus celebrate Rochester!  ROCtoberfest 5K was created in 2018 where we were able to raise monies for various charities in the region.  And for charities to raise money for their organizations without the expense of producing an event.

Grab your running shoes and lederhosen and celebrate at the ROCtoberfest 5K! Join us at Genesee Valley Park for a fun festival kicked off by the 5K run/walk that also will serve as a fundraising event for local charities.  Let's celebrate Rochester and all the charities in it. After the race ends the party starts! Register today to join the ROCtoberfest fun!!  Enjoy Live Music and Helping Raise Money for Local Rochester Charities!
