Kids Race Start: 9:20AM (ish) - want to make sure majority of 5kers are through so athletes have room
Join us in person on December 10th at Blue Cross Arena, or choose your favorite route and run/walk it on your time, virtually!
Submit your virtual results any time between 8am, December 10 - 9pm, December 18.

By registering for this event you are acknowledging that the date, time, location, and distance of the race may be changed, switched to virtual, or canceled at any time as deemed necessary by the Race Directors due to circumstances beyond their control. In the event that any of these scenarios happens or any other, there will be no refunds, transfers, or deferrals allowed unless otherwise stated.

Packet Pick-up:
Friday, December 9th - 10:00am-6:00pm at Fleet Feet @The Armory (155 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14620) - Please go to early packet pickup. Others may pickup for you. This will help alleviate race day lines and congestion.
First 200 to packet pickup will get antlers!! Caviat: If you are picking up for more than 3 people, you will only get three antlers max
Race Day Packet Pickup is 7:30am - 8:15am at Blue Cross Arena. Please do not wait until race day!!!
Awards
5K Awards
- Overall Male & Female Finishers
- Age Group Awards to Top Male/Female in 5 year age groups (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up)
There are no age group/overall awards for the kids 1/2 mile race.
Awards Ceremony: We will be handing out awards inside the arena at 9:45AM race morning. Awards will not be mailed.
Race Day Schedule
7:30am - 8:15am - Packet Pickup (Do NOT wait until race day, please go to packet pickup on Friday at Fleet Feet)
8:30am - 5K Race Starts
9:20am - 1/2 Mile Kids Race Starts at corner of Court and Exchange on parking garage side of street (we will want to assess that the majority of 5Kers are through so all athletes have room)
9:45am - Awards Inside Blue Cross Arena
Course/Maps
Course Map (OLD ROUTE - not being used for 2022 - see below for 2022 adjusted route)
*Please Note: Due to construction on north bound of the river path, there is a detour to the sidewalks following the posted detour signs - see map and notes below - Please heed caution everywhere, but especially here as it narrows. In addition, the out and back on Wilson has been removed and all athletes will turn right onto the riverpath northbound from Wilson.*
- The Start is outside the Blue Cross Arena on Exchange Blvd
- You will head south on Exchange until you reach the Ford Street Bridge
- You will turn left and cross over the bridge
- Once over the bridge, you will turn right on to Wilson Blvd
- Continue down Wilson until you turn right on to the river path (near McLean)
- You will head north on the river path to Court Street.
- *Detour* a few feet under the Ford Street Bridge athletes will turn right towards Mt Hope Ave, then LEFT ONTO THE SIDEWALK. Caution as it will narrow. You will be on the sidewalk past Erie Harbor Apartments for about 300 feet, then TURN LEFT Back onto River Path, remaining on River Path until Court Street
- Turn left on to Court St to Exchange (you will be on the left side of Dinosaur BBQ). Caution coming off curb
- Turn right on to Exchange to the finish line
The Kids Race
- Begins at the corner of Exchange and Court
- Athletes run south on Exchange for about 1/4 mile then turn around in front of Corn Hill Landing Area
- Athletes then run north back to the finish line where the 5Kers finish
Directions/Parking
There are several parking garages around the Blue Cross Arena that offer plenty of parking for participants & spectators.
Parking is also available on the large surface lot off Court Street + Exchange. If you park here you may not be able to leave until after the race is completed as it is right along the course for the finish line for the 5K and Kids Race.
