Pumpkins In The Park 5k & Kids Run Wild Races
A Family-Friendly Halloween-Themed 5k
- Cash prizes to Top 3 Male & Female Finishers ($150, $100, $75)
- Costume contest: Hashtag race photos of yourself Facebook to enter using the #PIPCostume tag! Submit your entry by Tuesday, November 3rd, and we will announce the winner at noon on Wednesday, November 4th!

PLUS: YellowJacket Racing, in conjunction with Fleet Feet Sports, will donate $1 from every 5K entry to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Another $1 from every entry will be donated to the Rochester Youth Sports Foundation.
What You Get
- Chip timing - including Mile 1 and Mile 2 Splits, net time for the 5k (The time from when the gun goes off until you cross the start line is subtracted from your official gun time to get your net time). Note: As per USATF Rule 245 we do not use net times for awards, they are provided by us to you as an additional service only.
- Live text and email results as your finish (sign up for results notifications to track a runner here)
- Finish line video integrated into the results in the following week
- Plenty of post-race food for all participants including bagels, donut holes, cookies, pretzels, and bananas.
- Gender specific technical tops to all 5k entries registered by October 5th. The next 250 registrants will receive a cotton t-shirt - shirt sizing is on a first come, first served basis so register early.
- All Kids Run Wild participants will receive a finisher medal!

Course/Maps
5K Course Description
The course begins right on Norris Drive outside Riley Lodge. It meanders around the Cobbs Hill neighborhood, up the Reservoir, then back down towards Monroe Ave and Culver Rd. There are hills, but it ends on a nice downhill onto the grass finish line (near the softball fields along Culver Road). There will be one water stop on course. (Map)
Kids Run Wild Course Description
The Kids Run Wild races will be on the grass by the softball fields and will be 1/4 mile loops, crossing the same finish line as the 5K.
Mascot Race
After the 5K there will be a mascot race with Fleet Feet Pete as well as many local mascots.
