Fall is coming so let's enjoy our gorgeous autumn scenery virtually by traversing the historic Rail Trail System in Western NY and the Finger Lakes Regions. This trail system was once railway systems to connect various corridors of the Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse areas.  Today these systems can be paved or dirt trailways that are point to point.  Surrounded by autumnal beauty, as our leaves start to change, you can virtually imagine the exquisiteness and serenity of the trail you are on.

Starting on October 1, 2021, you have almost 11 weeks to virtually walk, run, or cycle 220.7 Miles of 10 of the major Rail Trails in Western NY and Finger Lakes Region of New York State. You will receive a finisher medal where you can attach your foliage charms for every 44ish miles completed.  The final charm is for completing the final 1 Miles.  This virtual autumn adventure ends on December 18, 2021.  See Maps and all Rail Trails below under Course on the website.

*NOTE*: You can run, walk or bike anywhere you choose or perhaps visit one of the trails that you'll be traversing
