Amenities

Chip timing including Net Time for the 15k (The time it takes for you to cross the timing mats at the start is subtracted from your official Gun Time to get your Net Time). Note: As per USATF rule 245 we do not use this as your official time for awards, it is provided by us to you as an additional service.

Technical shirts will be given to all registered by March 1st, 2015Cotton t-shirts will be given to the next 400 registrants. Shirts are a unisex size, women should move down one size. All shirt sizing is on a first come, first served basis so register early.

**Early Start Option** - we are offering an early start option for 15K runners who feel they will finish after one hour and 45 minutes. To partake in this option, you must be ready (WITH TIMING CHIP) and at the start line by 7:10AM. The Early Starters will start at 7:15AM SHARP. The key is you must be in that bracket where you know it will take you 1:45 or more to finish. Please know that the early start will be self supported initially. Once the race starts at 8:00AM, road marshalls and water stops will be out.

Awards will take place at 10:15AM, we would love everyone to be able to be present.

Maps + Directions

Almost completely on roads except the final stretch leading up the the finish which is on a gravel path.
Mile markers will be on both courses
All turns and crossings will be marked with white arrow A-frame signs

15K
The 15K course is hilly and a great tune up for late spring marathons or the Flower City Half-Marathon. Three water stops on course with water. The start is on Douglas Road and the finish is on the dirt road next to Stewart Lodge. This is an out and back on Douglas Rd.  Runners will be running north on Douglas crossing Canfield, going around the loop and heading back to the finish line.  There are hills, but they are friendly hills.

The race starts on Douglas road near the grass triangle at the end of the exit lane of the Beach Lot heading south towards Pond Road. Turn left onto Pond Road, then turn right onto Pittsford Mendon Center Road (Rt. 64). There will be a water stop before the next turn around mile 3 then turn left onto Rush Mendon Road (Rt. 251). Turn left onto West Bloomfield Road. At about 6 miles there will be a water stop after the crossing of Smith Road. Turn left onto Canfield Road then there will be a water stop about a ½ mile after the turn onto Canfield Road before Mile 8. Turn left onto Douglas Road then turn right onto the gravel path leading to Stewart Lodge and head into the finish corral.

The 2.5 Mile course is an out and back on Douglas Road
There are hills, but they are friendly hills with a total elevation gain of only 185 ft
There is one water stop on course around one mile in on Douglas Road

Runners will begin on the gravel path by the tall red start banner and head towards Douglas Road, Turn left onto Douglas Road, cross Canfield Road, going around the loop at the end and returning back the way you came, take a right back onto the gravel path leading to Stewart Lodge and into the finish corral.
